...RTC FINALE | 10 May 2008Way to go Crosby! Anytime a real musician is given deserved credit in this industry, Im all for it. Its so funny because out of all of us, Crosby didn't think he would make it very far-let alone win the entire show! Source: Lucy's Myspace

Get while they're still available! | 10 May 2008I put all the 'Rock the Cradle' Lucy performances (audio/video) download links in the sidebar for easy access to them for people who still want to watch or listen to Lucy perform.
They'll only be available in the sidebar until the links eventually die off. And then I'll eventually put them in the audio/video sections on the site.

MY DEPARTURE FROM ’ROCK THE CRADLE’ | 04 May 2008In my opinion I thought this last episode was the best of the season. We all kicked ass!My performace of 'My Immortal' was actually my favorite performance of my LIFE. I was so emotionally drained after-that if you notice when I walked down to talk to the judges, I was barely aware of the crowd reaching out at me. There were no scores, but Larry said he would've scored me an 11! Source: Lucy's Myspace

Interview with Lucy | 03 May 2008"Finally I got to talk to Lucy Walsh who was eliminated last night. I interviewed her with a few other members of the press in her dressing room.
Press: How do you feel about this whole experience? Was it worthwhile for you to do this show? Lucy Walsh: It was very worthwhile for me to do this show. I'm really happy. And at first I said "no" because I absolutely hate reality TV and I don't watch television. But as long as it's focusing on talent, I'm comfortable. And I wanted to do the show for the mass exposure that comes from a television spot. And I got what I came for. I've gotten almost 100,000 listens on my MySpace page (and I was already at half a million) since the show started. And I've been doing music my whole life so this was just one step for me. Press: What was your favorite week? LW: My favorite song was tonight's. "My Immortal" by Evanescence. And I've been saying this whole week, more than winning to me, I just really want to be able to perform that song because this is the first time in this competition that I have stepped into my performance emotionally. And I could feel that switch and it's because of what I've gone through over the season with having to be judged and having to look at myself and be willing to grow. And I'm finally getting there. And I could not be happier. I really had a good time. And I went out on a great note. Press: What's after this for you? LW: I'm going to make a record. I'm going to get on the road. And I will be doing music my entire life. I think that the real artists stand the test of time. And I think that the people with no talent can only go as far as the hype will alow. And at some point you really have to have the talent to make this your life work. To read more of the interview click here.

Lucy goes home | 02 May 2008Sadly, Lucy did not make the top 3. She was sent home with Lara Johnston.
Crosby Loggins, Jesse Blaze Snider, and Chloe Lattanzi are the top 3. Lucy gave another wonderful piano performance tonight. She sang 'My Immortal'. The audience chanted "Lucy" after hearing her being sent home. Lucy gave a shout out to all her fans and that we'll see her at her concerts. Also, vote for Jesse! 2nd highest score | 25 Apr 2008Every week gets harder and harder to deliver a great performance with the drama of someone going home...and tonight was tough. Landon and Al B. are such funny uplifting boys to have around, and I will miss them. Source: Lucy's IAmOnMTV.com profile
